Curriculum vitae et studiorum — Prof. Eustachio Tarasco
Nato a Matera il 03/08/1964, è Professore Associato presso il Dipartimento di Scienze del Suolo della Pianta e degli Alimenti (DiSSPA), Sez. di Entomologia e Zoologia, Università degli Studi “Aldo Moro” di Bari, dove è docente di “Entomologia e Zoologia Forestale” e “Gestione della Biodiversità Faunistica”. Ha conseguito la laurea in Scienze Agrarie nel 1990 e nel 1995 il Dottorato di Ricerca in Entomologia. Dal 1996 in poi, con una borsa C.N.R. (Centro di studio sulle tecniche di lotta biologica contro gli organismi dannosi alle piante, Napoli) e poi una borsa post-dottorato (Università di Bari), ha iniziato a studiare la patologia degli insetti, con particolare riguardo ai nematodi e a i funghi entomopatogeni.

Patologia degli Insetti e controllo microbiologico. Biologia e fisiologia dei nematodi e funghi entomopatogeni presenti nei biotopi del mediterraneo e possibile utilizzo di questi nel controllo degli insetti dannosi.

Biodiversità entomatica e ornitica in ambiente urbano, periurbano e in Parchi naturali mediterranei.

Progetti in Entomologia forestale ed agraria finanziati dal CNR, MIUR e Regione Puglia dal 1993 ad oggi.E’ rappresentante italiano del COST 842 “Biological Control of pest insects and mites with special references to Entomophtorales”. E’ delegato italiani del COST 850 “Bio-control Symbiosis (Symbiotic Complexes for Biological control of Pests)”. E’ nel Collegio dei docenti per il Dottorato di Ricerca in “Protezione delle Piante”, Università degli Studi di Bari. Membro delle organizzazioni IUFRO e IOBC/WPRS. Membro straniero nelle commissioni di valutazione del Dottorato di Ricerca all’Università di Montpellier II (Francia, febbraio 2011) e all’Università di Lavras (Brasile, luglio 2011)
